It has been almost a year since I last posted but my hair journey continues. It has a little over two years since the Big Chop and it has been over three years since my last relaxer. My hair is growing. It has grown a lot since I last posted pictures. I will eventually give you an update when I start taking more pictures. I have grown to love my hair and I can't see myself going back to a relaxer. Natural hair is so versatile. I can go from curly hair to straight to wavy to spiral curls. I love it so much that I don't want to get braids or weave. I just feel that there are too many restrictions with those hair styles. I just really love my natural hair and I am embracing it to the fullest extent. The only problem is that I run out of hairstyles to put in at times. I have gotten a bit creative with some styles but then I go a couple of months of wearing nothing but ponytail puff balls on the top of my head and my mind is blank.
But I can truly say that I finally love my hair, unlike when I first started the journey.
